Thistledown's A League of Her Own Variety: Agouti (Chestnut) Age/Sex: Jr. Doe Breeder: Hannah, Madaleine & Iain Mills This little agouti doe is out of our BIS Winner, GC Caudill's Grand Slam, a Broken Chestnut [13+ Legs & #1 Youth ROTY 2010-2011] and Caudill’s Hershey Kisses, a Chestnut Doe [1 leg]. Her sire and dam are littermates. This is our first brother & sister breeding and we will definitely do a repeat! We showed her the first time at an early September show and received nothing but positive remarks. Judges said she is well balanced and very promising. Her head, ears, and over all type is very good. She took a BOG and BOSG as a junior and earned two legs! *Congratulations to* Liza Rogers from Gardner, Kansas for having the winning ticket! Liza is a new youth breeder and she only bought ONE ticket! Thistledown's Hardball Variety: Broken Black Age/Sex: Jr. Buck Breeder: Hannah, Madaleine & Iain Mills This little guy is out of our BIS Winner, GC Caudill's Grand Slam, a Broken Chestnut [13+ Legs & #1 Youthl ROTY 2010-2011] and Rose Meadow's Twilight, a Black Doe [out of RM's Lord of the Knight] and she has LOTS of wool. We are keeping his littermate who is also a broken black. It was very hard to decide which one! He is coming into his senior coat and his head is finally filling out from his jr. molt, which we feel will balance out his ears. He has full hindquarters, with a high head mount.
